The Chief Executive of the International Kabaddi Federation, Deoraj Chaturvedi further said that circle-Kabaddi event had a set of rules which were not followed by the organisers of the recent tournament in India. “One of the major rules of any recognised event is the presence of neutral referees, this rule was not followed of course and Which World Cup is staged every year?” said Deoraj Chaturvedi, while talking to this correspondent for News One TV

“The third Kabaddi World cup was held in 2012, which was the last as well because since then the IKF has not patronised any such event”, added Chaturvedi

In the final of the tournament, India beat Pakistan in the final, after which the Pakistan captain, Shafiq Chishty accused the match officials of bias.
